The MS is very 12V sensitive, if it isn't at 12V, it will run like crap.

Does your car run?

Did you try trickle charging the battery? or just jumping it?

AGM batterys need to trickle (2A or less) to fully replenish, jumping doesn't really help out the battery or stabilize the 12V for the MS.

You can get a new ignitor from the mazda dealer. They're like $100 or something like that.
Check the MSQ, make sure it's set to "spark inverted - NO" if it was set to yes somehow that will cause your ignitor to get hot and "fry" like that.
Also make sure your dwell isn't all messed up.

okay so inverted was NO on all my msq that were ever loaded! and my dwell settings are this cranking is 5.5 and running is 3.5 and .5 minimum discharge???? anything wrong with that and would just cranking on the car with a low battery burn out the ignitor?

A low battery shouldn't cause that issue. Unless the low battery caused something in the MS to corrupt somehow and it switched to inverted - yes
That actually happened to be one time but it had to do with the DB9-USB adapter i was using. Happened to another guy as well, turned his to inverted and it fried his coils. I was lucky to catch mine before starting the car.

90% of the time it's the ignitor that burns out. You did say it is the part that got hot. It's always good to have a spare anyway.
