Hey guys, My friend is wiring my car and he has done this a lot before, however, he is asking some questions about the COP wiring because there is conflicting information all over the place and its difficult to wade through the 5 years of posts to find one conclusive answer.

I'm using an MSII built by brain for Qckslvr from a while back

We are wiring toyota cops to a 1.6 from scratch. no existing harness or anything.

Do we need the 10k resistors and the 1 ohm resistor in the wiring?

are there any other things we can eliminate since we aren't wiring into the stock system/ignitor?

Also, can we run the injectors and ignition sequentially and get rid of batch/wasted spark?

You need a single 10k capacitor. I'm not sure if Brain puts the 1k ohm resistor inside the box, but if he doesn't, you'll need it to drive the tach.

the 10k uf cap is installed parallel with the 12v and ground in the wiring for the cops. The 1k resistor is for the diag box to give you the pull up power for the tach. the 1k resistor isn't in the wiring
