Exclamation No tach output. Please help.

I have a 90 Miata with a ms1 standalone, greddy turbo, 440cc injectors, adj. fpr. I started my car the other day with the ms for the first time with a new .msq borrowed from someone else that has a similar setup. The car started right away, I drove it around the neighborhood until it was warm, turned the car off, went to restart it and nothing. The next day I went back outside tried to start the car and nothing happened, so I reloaded the same .msq file and the car started back up. I again drove it around and turned the car off and now it won't start again. I plugged the factory ecu back in and the car will turn over and run for 3-4 sec. and then dies. It now doesn't have any tack output on the dash, and the megatune doesn't show any rmp except for a second right after you are done cranking. I am assuming that the reason the car will not run is because there is no tack output. Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong or how to fix this.

Thanks, Tyler

You've used someone else's msq which had incorrect dwell settings for your coil, (either inverted or not, or too high), and you've killed your coilpack/igniter

place you palm on on your head hard, then go and buy a new igniter and get the correct settings for your car.

EDIT: just looked at your .msq, spark output is set to inverted I'd put a bloody healthy bet that you've not got/done the updated spark mod...

plus it probably doesn't have good settings for your injectors so you cannot make a good hot start happen.

Yeah, I was just trying to get a close .msq to get my car started for a good baseline to adjust from, guess I didn't do enough research.

There is a lot of stuff that doesn't look right in that msq. Cranking rpm, fan temps, mapdot kpa threshold, dwell to name a few along with what richyvrlimited and The Boost Czar mentioned. Plus in the log your battery voltage drops severely where it has all the spikes at the end. 11, 10, even 9 volts.

Do you have a bad connection somewhere?

I tested the coil packs and they are firing, but not very well, which leads me to believe that the ignitor has gone bad. Thats why the tack isn't working and the car won't stay running. I guess I shouldn't have borrowed someone elses msq before doing a little more research. So now I need a new ignitor and a new msq.
