LC-1 signal distortion in MS pnp 9495
My Megatune gauge shows other AFR, than the LC-1 gauge. I've done all the connections of LC-1 as instructions says (the same grounds for MS and LC-1, I even tried with connecting separate, new ground cables to my MS harness and LC-1 from engine head or block, but the problem is still the same. something causes that my MS makes some voltage distortion of LC-1 output signal....
I switched the 2 outputs between LC-1 gauge and megasquirt the problem is the same.
when I disconnect the LC1 output from MS, the voltage on LC1 output is ok and the volt meter shows 5V when the LC-1 gauge shows AFR 22,4. When I connect the LC-1 to the MS the voltage immedietally drops to 4,8 volts, and keeps dropping to something about 2,5-3.5 V after few minutes ride (I compare voltage to AFR only by foot off the gas - when the LC-1 gauge shows 22.4). when I disconnect the LC-1 output from MS during ride, the voltage on LC1 output gets immedietally back to correct 5V by foot of the gas....
I have both LC-1 outputs programmed the same to 0-5 V 7-22 AFR, my MS configurator is set to LC1 default 0-5V 0.5- 1.5 lambda, Do You have any any idea how to fix this problem?
sorry for the next thread, but didn't want You to read about my wrong grounds again https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t33966/

do not stack the grounds like that. Solder them together, on one lug. If you can't do that, then use a seperate lug for each gnd on one piece of metal.
Have you reset (check the lc-1 manual on the method) with both connections hooked-up? A friend had this same issue in his VW.
