Default Hey Joe (Perez) What happened?

What happened to the pics in a bunch of your threads? Namely the ones hosted on "picoodle.com"? I've been doing a lot of searching lately and have noticed lots of missing pics. Being one of the more helpful and knowledgeable posters around here, it's kind of a bummer when we can't see stuff you referenced in photos.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. The MS related pics are the ones that I was looking for mostly.

What happened is that picoodle changed their policy and started randomly deleting **** without telling anyone. Unfortunately, I've long since lost or misplaced the originals for a bunch of that stuff, and I'm just so bummed out about it that I haven't been able to bring myself to recreate them.

Anything in particular you were looking for? I can see if I can come up with an acceptable substitute.

Figured it was something like that. Nothing off the top of my head, just a general question. If I need something, you mind if I PM? I still haven't done the spark mod but I think that's well documented...

Heh, I forgot about that thread. Yeah, those pics made me smile.

Sidebar: Does anybody know of a good (free = good) image hosting service that isn't going to nuke my content arbitrarily? Can even be a free web hosting service so long as the UI is smooth & easy and they allow hotlinking. (eg: Geocities UI used to absolutely suck *****. Forty-seven steps to upload a damn file.)

the new google plus images (nee picasa) has decided to allow unlimited images as long as you have a plus account and they are 2048x2048 max (once you hit your 1gb limit, they automagically get resized)

How free do you need it?

Space on Amazon S3 is really cheap, and you'll have total control over your stuff.

I store some important backups on there and they faithfully bill me 26 cents a month for it.

Originally, I used Geocities.

I then switched to imageshack.us. I found that their load times tended to be agonizingly slow, so I switched to imagefra.me, which then turned into picoodle.

Photobucket makes me a sad panda.

$0.26 a month is more than nothing. But it might be worth it long term.

I've been using imageur for a while now (free), and I really like it. Problem is that while their Chrome plugin is just the coolest thing ever, I can't seem to make it sync between multiple computers.

I may check into this Google Plus thing.

For the moment, Brain hooked me up with an account on the server, and that seems to be working.

It's 12 cents a gigabyte... after the one gigabyte per month that's free. Doubt it would be an issue.
