Default Replacing Link with MS

Guys I had replaced my stock ECU with the FM Link, and now, in search of more control over the tune, I am going to MS the car.

It is a 1.8L 97 RHD Miata with 550 CC injectors, GT2560R, Bell Engineering headers and a custom exhaust. The car still has the A/C and P/S systems in place and I want to keep them for now.

My question is, and yes I have searched, what do I need to think about to have the MS completely replace the Link? Are there any got-cha's to be aware of?

Thanks

DB

Traction Control, launch control, anti-rev, water injection, higher/finer density on the fuel and ignition tables, more outputs to connect to..... and so on!

Less support.

Would you say you had a bad tune? Less than optimal? What would you say you're "leaving on the table" by running Link?

Thanks, just curious.

you can have the MS to anti lag, launch control, WI/NOS/Extra injector control, and barometric correction

So you are saying use both? Use the link for base management and the MS for all the additional bits?

Most of these features are part of the Megasquirt's fuel and/or spark control, so it would be hard if not impossible to combine them with a second ECU.

this is all true except for that the Link has a higher resolution. You will also likely have a better tune on the link because its been gone over, and over, and over, and over again on the miata for years now. Megasquirt is cool though Im working on getting mine set up right now.
