Default Swapping stock motors with already tuned megasquirt

Would switching from a stock 1.6 that is on it's way out effect anything. Or would the timing need to be adjusted again? Thanks
Joe

Everything would really need to be adjusted, but most definitely timing.

Everything changes: injectors, compression, head condition, CAS, it all effects the tune.

Always check your base timing.
How do you know the replacement engine wasn't run at 16* ?
