quick noob diypnp wiring question: EBC and TACHOUT
Car is a 94 with cops. DIYPNP. Going to use the tachout and unhook the tach signal from the cops
I am trying to wire up my TACHOUT directly to the tach as I am suspecting some stock wiring harness gremlins. I want to hook up the TACHOUT to the DB15.
Also, while I had the diypnp open, I noticed the EBC OUT pin had nothing connected to it. This a brain built diypnp. Should this OUT pin be hooked up to a pin on the DB15 also? As of right now, the IN is soldered to PA0
I've circled where I think the wires should go, but any help would be great! I didn't really get exactly where the TACHOUT was so I just circled an area I thought the TACHOUT was at (already have the diypnp back in the car for now)

oh yeah, so I've also upgraded to the 3.2.1 firmware.... which has changed all of the pinout names.... great. Before the Tacho Output used to have a pin that said TACHOUT. Now it's....... D14 ? is that right?

I really have no idea.

Thanks for the info guys. Got everything working and finally to the dyno.
The TACHOUT was already hooked up, however my stock wiring must have some ground issue or possibly even a short somewhere.
These WERE my symptoms:
-STOCK coils, 3-4k rpm erratic tach
-COPS, idle AND 3-4k rpm erratic tach
-resistor connection in the diagnostic box did nothing, connected or not. must have pullup already
-COPS tach signal disconnected- tach still worked... LOL
-COPS signal disconnected, TACHOUT ON, tach still erratic
-bypassing stock wiring with TACHOUT wired to DB15 in DIYPNP, wire going directly to back of gauge cluster, steady TACH at all RPMS
Thanks again guys!
