In my latest ms2 mod I implemented a rpm smoother that used a sliding window to essentially ignore all rpm changes within the window size, and any rpm changes outside that window adjusted the window (less half the window size).

I think this approach is correct and the simplest.... Does anyone have any view on the best algorithm for a sliding window filter?
