So I've seen post where if you have incorporate afr on and you want to change your afr you just change your target table. I get that but what I am not sure of is how do I get to my afr target if I am not hitting my target. I'll start off by saying my ve table is garbage and I have incorporate afr on.

I dont want to change my target i just want to hit my target. I can still adjust the ve table to get there right?

Also let's say my target is 14.7 but my actual in the log is 15.3 would the calculation to hit the target afr be?

"VE (new) = VE (old) * AFR (logged) / AFR (desired)

OR: 115 = 120 * 11.3 / 11.8 for your example.

That assumes that EGO = 100% at time of log"
This was taken from an old thread. One last thing is what would the calculation for the ve value be if you had some ego correction during that missed target.
ex: target afr: 13
actual afr: 13.5
ego correction at that moment 107%
or is there not a way to factor in ego?

This is just example numbers btw. If someone can ease chime in it would help a ton. I considered going out and auto tune but I am stuck inside and if i can do this by hand why not.

EDIT: Regardless of incorporate, or not.... if you want 12, and you are getting 13, multiply your VE at that load by 13/12.

EDIT2: to take into account EGO: multiply VE by 13 / 12 * (EGO/100). So, as you state EGO = 107%, then you would multiply the VE by an additional 1.07.

Side note.... VEAL is your friend. It will drive your VE table to meet your AFR table as you drive.
