Post MS3 onboard USB-2-serial with OSX El Capitan

Does anyone know if the MS3 onboard USB-serial converter (FTDI-based) will work "out of the box" with the Apple FTDI driver included in OSX El Capitan, or do you have to disable the Apple driver and install one from FTDI instead?

Thanks much in advance :-)

I don't know, but I do know that MS3 worked fine with el capitan without me fussing with it. At some point in the past I installed the FTDI driver from the manufacturer and I have since upgraded about three or four times. I don't know if I am using the manufacturer driver or the apple driver. But - whatever I have going on works.

Ok, thanks. Will try to connect with the standard Apple driver and see what happens.
