MS3, Turbo, and Timing
Well, the MS3 seems to be doing pretty well. It's idling ok, the timing is at 12 degrees, and it stopped dying every time I touched the throttle (the throttle was reading -5 at foot-off-the-pedal, fixed that)
Now, once it stops snowing, I'll take it for a drive and see how it does, keep an eye on the tables and such. Once I'm certain that it's doing ok, I plan on plumbing in the rest of the turbo piping. Other than adjusting the A/F ratios, will I need to be concerned about changing the timing, or is putting it at
10BTDC ok?
I've been searching around for the last hour with no good answer to this question. From what Brainiac said in his sticky, as long as the A/F can be controlled, then the need to retard timing is not present. Is that correct with the MS3?
