Hey all! Just got on this forum and glad to be a part of it.

A bit about my car to get started. 1992, 1.6 wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, 312cc injectors. ECU harness was previously tapped for a voodoo box, but I'm back on the stock ECU for now.

So I've got a Stratified MS2 PNP and I've been trying to get it running on it. Base map did not start it up right away when I tried it, so I attempted to adjust some parameters to get her running. As I was changing things and cranking, all of the sudden the connection to the laptop ceased, and wouldn't connect again. I put it away and tried against a few days later and had the same problem, this was a few months ago. This last weekend I gave it another shot. It connected to the laptop just fine and we got it to barely run with me keeping my foot on the gas, tried to run autotune but it seemed to be stuck on only 2 cells and didn't help at all. Then after about an hour or so it stopped connecting to the laptop again. When we got it to run(kindof) again it would connect and disconnect intermittently. It will still bench check to a pc and burn changes just fine.

So that's the problem, do any of you have a clue as to what could be causing it to connect, not connect, then reconnect again? I'm really stumped here and everyone else seems to be as well. Thanks!
