Default DIYAutoTune LCD Digital Dash?

Curious if anyone has used one of these yet. Still don't even have the engine assembled and installed, or even a relay cable built yet.. However I'm always looking for something new to tinker with and this thing looks TOTALLY killer!!

Yeah the price is why I haven't jumped.. but from what I can tell you can actually tune with it. Save you messing with a notebook

It would be very nice to have that. Palms are cheaper though not so awesome.

We've done a fair amount of testing before we offered it for sale, and it's likely we may even have pictures of it installed in a Miata before long. If you have any questions about it, just let me know.

Its cool, but I would much rather have a dedicated palm (less chance of theft, and if i break it I wont be nearly as pissed)

The palm with MS is quite a nice tool to have in the glovebox 24/7.

Not a bad price for a touchscreen. I'd make a flip out on the side of my center console for it if I installed one.

I'd like some high quality high resolution photographs of the display in operation. The quality of the youtube video was pretty bad and it would be nice for a better representation of it.

btw, defiantly want to see some killer install shots of it in a miata. Where the heck would it go??

Any kind of bezel or beauty trim offered? Maybe a small enclosure that would make it portable?

I've got a laptop mounted in the boot and a 7" flip out touch screen to control my MS.

That would be cool.. but the LCDash doesn't run the stereo unfortunately . It's a sweet little touchscreen display with datalogging soon to be added (plug in a USB key and datalog away).

I'm thinking of possibly putting one in our '91 Miata and maybe sticking a 1/2din MP3/WMA player under it. Something like this: http://www.gadgetoptions.com/207202/7237090.html

You can google 'half din mp3 player' to find several options.

As for a bezel that's going to be unique for each car to make it look right-- pretty easy for the Miata though... just put it where the stereo was and use a flat sheet of your material of choice. Black Plastic? Stainless? Red Plexi? Stained Wood? Whatever you want...

Those half-din stereo's are nice.
What do you think of the Megaview's Jerry? One might fit in the slot where the NB Airbag switch fits.
*checking size*

The MegaView works well too, it's pretty different from this thing though. It scrolls several variables across the screen. You can freeze it on a certain one if you'd like to watch something specific. It's more affordable, the LCDash is more 'trick'. Options

well, you can always buy one of my car computers and hook it up to megasquirt they are just like high dollar stereos but way better. with navigation, bluetooth, dvd, 100gb hd, and ability to tune your megasquirt.
ps: i will be showing 2 prototypes at HIN in vegas on october 6th. one of them (in my miata) will be hooked up to megasquirt.
