Default are 55occ injectors too big for small turbo 1.6

Ok so I have the diypnp on the way. I have 550cc injectors are they too big for the 11psi I am running on my 2554. later I plan to swap to a larger turbo and 1.8 but dont want them to be to big for the next yr till I can afford the swap to 1.8 and larger turbo.

Please let me know

Thanks

does the car idle 550s perfectly fine?

If so, ---- it and dont worry about it. The cc's more the merrier.

when i say I have them I am purchasing them. The car is on the stock ecu now and would not idle with 550 i dont think. I guess the question is I am ms newbie and dont know if 550 are too big for a 1.6 with MS DIYPNP.

no, if they are clean the car will idle just fine. I did 15k N/A miles on 550cc injectors and they are not "too big".

I have my '91 idling very well with 550cc RX7 injectors.

Don't worry about it.

They will be fine. Modern 1000cc injectors will probably idle better, though.

i had rx7 550cc injectors and they idled fine, although they liked to be a tiny bit rich at 14.2 or so a/f ratio. I'm currently on 850cc ev14's and they idle better than stock. for your megasquirt noobness, which everyone has gone through at some point, except for maybe brain and reverent :P, just gotta set the REQ_fuel at the correct ratio and modify your VE (fuel) tables
