Need some more help
I'm trying to get MS2 up and running here. So far im at a complete loss cause i dont know what ini file or embedded code to use for my 99 setup. I tried loading the Monitor_v3.430.abs.s19 but it keeps erroring saying Stack pointer out of range at 37% using the MS-1/MS2 Embedded code update utility. So if someone could help me out and tell me what s19 embedded code to use that would be great. Also easytherm wont upload the information to MS2 due to no connection even though the embedded update utility can communicate with MS2. Is there a way around doing it without Easytherm. And does anyone know why MS2 isnt communicating with Megatune? Ive tired it on my laptop with a usb to serial converter and with just a serial cable on my desktop.

you should be using this for firmware: http://msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/file...u_20100522.zip
just double click download-firmware.bat and follow the directions.
then use this for a basemap, configured for your setup of course: http://www.diyautotune.com/diypnp/ap...00-18bp-mt.zip

ok i was able to do the firmware update. So now i just load the basemap and my car should start correct? And how do you load a basemap onto the MS2 device? Also it looks like i need ms2extra Rel 3.03s.ini if anyone has it

Sorry for all the posting but im trying to get my car running this weekend if you know what i mean. Well so far i have it all wired up but im not getting spark.
Is it better to use tunerstudio for the initial setup or should i use Megatune? I.E. Setting up spark trigger angle and such and does anyone have some settings i can go off of for this?
