Default MSPNP just installed, too much timing?

I just got the MSPNP on my car and we finally got it to idle sort of smooth. (only when it warms up) it idles like crap on cold start up though. and we took it for a short drive up the street and the wideband is showing 17-18 afr. Looking at the spark table though it's at 17 and goes up to about 38. I'm going to be lowering this definately and I'm going to take a closer look at the fuel tables.

93 LE setup:
99-00 1.8 injectors
garrett 2560gt
fm intercooler

Anywho, main question... is the PNP supposed to start out with that much spark starting out? or is it definately different for turbo cars?

I assumed that the PNP was for stock miatas running 93 octane. Therefore if you car is turbo'd you would have to adjust accordingly. Did you change the msq based on your injectors?

I did that right after the install, just to let you guys know I installed the tps sensor too. I ordered the pnp with the mods done to it for tps. I don't think it would cause an issue.

Did you check your timing when you installed the MS?

yeah, we got the timing right just like he did in the video supplied. On my car though, we had to set the trigger angle to 60 and adjusted the CAS manually. After that we went to change the injector type, I believe the 99-00 injectors are 240cc (based on turbo FAQ's) and I set the required fuel to 12.7 as suggested per instructions for bigger injectors. Other than that I haven't done anything.
