Default My first log after plugging in MSPnP

Well, my idle is surging and I keep getting resets. I got two resets during the log. There are also about 3 or 4 spikes in the log. Two of them are huge. Everything spikes. I'm guessing those two are the resets? Any wise words?

it's there now, sorry. And I forgot to mention I haven't installed the wideband yet, obviously. I also made a previous log to this where Megatune was reading my RPMs about 500 lower than what the tach was showing? What the crap is going on?

no one wants to look at the log? Can anyone give me pointers about those spikes?
Some shots of the log to make this easier.
The first two demonstrate the surging idle and the second two show the spikes.

Someone correct me but I think that resets show up in MLV as a vertical red line so only your 3rd pic is showing a reset. As for surging idle, It looks like you havn't calibrated the TPS as its registering 0 for a while whilst the revs are changing. Try re-calibrating it and see what difference it makes.

I took a look at the log and I see the resets and spikes are communications glitches rather than an internal issue with the MSPNP. Make sure your cable isn't loose in the computer. They don't have much of an effect on tuning.

You're running a narrow band O2 sensor so the O2 trace is naturally a bit spikey. When it's running at 14.7:1 these will often transition from around 0.1 volts to 0.8 or so - this is their natural response curve.

So you might want to check your serial communications but other than that everything looks A-OK.

thanks Matt, just a little nervous on my first go around. And I did calibrate my TPS. It registers on the gauge in megatune.

My bad, it just looked odd because the revs and map were changing but tps was still 0 untill it got high enough to register.
