Default Possible communication problems???

So I am trying to use the MSPNP msq to get started. I opened it up with MT and everything seemed to be good. I made some appropriate changes and sometime later noticed that it wasn't seeing an RPM input from the stim. It was at first. I have checked and double checked the spark settings according to the diy website. All looks good.

After I make a change and hit burn to ecu, shouldn't the little "saved" indicator in the bottom right hand corner confirm this? It doesn't.

I am using a Micro Innovations USB adapter. Maybe this is my prob. Or maybe I don't know what the &%$* I am doing.

Once you do the mods on the board and/or set the wheel decoder stuff correctly for the Miata, it won't work with the Stim anymore.
