LC-1 Error 5 issues
I have been getting an intermittent error 5 on my LC-1. I get it to work 100% perfect, power cycle it and bang Error 5 again. I have been reading about downgrading the firmware, and I am going to try that next. When I get this error, the fuel type has be changed in the LC-1 as well. The sensor is new, so I know that it is a good sensor. Anyone have any suggestions? The Innovate forums are of no use, lots of people have this issue, but no one updates the post with a solution.
I have also acquired a used LM-1, which my sensor works 100% of the time with. I am thinking about taking the guts out of the LM-1 and mounting the LCD display in the radio block off plate I have. I have opened the LM-1 unit up, the display is a separate board with a short, soldered, ribbon cable connecting the two. I am going to see if I can find a longer ribbon cable and mount the rest of the LM-1 behind the plate and mount a serial plug to the block off plate. I am also going to mount a serial plug for the megasquirt there as well.
