Stupid Plug locating
I can not for the life of me find one of the required plugs to do my parallel install.
It is Tyco/AMP p/n 174514-6 on the site it says Aesco is the only one of their dealers who currently have it but they require a minimum $100 order.
If anyone is planning on ordering parts to make their harness, would you be interested in ordering together so we can get these? Or does anyone know another place to get it. I am all out of ideas.

You need the middle connector when building the boomslang just for the coolant wire. You should run a separate wire for the GM IAT sensor you'll be using. If you're not going to use a knocksense then you don't need the knock wire.
That is a real pisser that everyone is sold out of that connector. Kind of a required component of my kits when i actually am building them.
Using a 90-97 CAS will not affect your need for a middle connector. He is saying if you have a 90-93 miata there is no middle connector used in the stock ECU harness.
You can see why the middle connector is needed in the below diagram.
Chopping up the stock harness isn't all that bad, especially if you do it for just one wire (CLT). Make sure you cut it far from the connector though so you can resolder it together if you need to.

[Thread HiJack] Does anyone know of a supplier in the UK who will have the parts for a homebrew boomslang? I really am lothed to shell out $139 for one from Boomslang.us + whatever they will charge for shipping to the UK. Has anyone in the UK already ordered bits and have some left over due to "minimum order rules"? Thanks in advance. [/Thread HiJack]
