I'd like to wire the signal wire from the aem uego wideband into the db15 port on my diypnp, is there any specific pin i need to wire it to, or can i use any and just run the jumper to it?

Also is it best to source the +12v and grounds from the ecu db15 or is it better to connect them elsewhere?

Any info would be appreciated.

You can run the signal line to any pin on the DB15, as long as you run a jumper in the DIYPNP from that pin to the O2 input. There's not set wiring for the DB15, do it up any way you want.

Would it be possible to take the ground for the uego from a point on the diypnp board and run it through the db15?

Yes. We've done the same with an LC-1.

Don't forget to put a fuse on the 12V line.

Is there a better place to take the 12v feed from? Is there a fuse i can feed from on the fusebox or is the radio suitable with an inline fuse after it?

I've taken power off a tap on ignition switch harness before with good results. I think the cigarette lighter is also off during cranking which is desirable for a wideband (although probably not quite as clean a power source). I'd run off either of those before tapping off the radio for fear of causing interference on or from the radio.

In the above example, we fed the LC-1 with power from the ECU itself, routed out the DB15. Made the LC-1 install a lot simpler. You'll want to use one of the top row connections as they have beefier traces.

Thanks matt. I used pins 1,4 and 8 on the plug. Should give a neat install now.

I also did this, with my ZT-2 WBO2 and the DIYPNP - no problems so far.

(But still a difference between the ZT-2 and the DIYPNP of about 0.5 AFR - the DIYPNP reads leaner than real, so no big problem as the engine is always running a tad richer)
