WHY NO REVLIMITER??? because r@$3(@! but srsly 8500+lol...
No, sorry I don't have any logs of my 8500+rpm run, god I wish I did but you're just gonna have to trust me. My motor is an all stock internal 94 protege motor w/o MBSP lol.
Well, I am in the process of selftuning my ms2 3.2.1. regular mods done. I had the rev limiter set on spark retard/cut and 4/5 events at 7100.
It was working a week ago and sounding sweet I might add(no pops and really smooth and sportbike sounding). I'm na right now but soon to be turbo after the ms2 shenanigans is figured out so I plan to run fuel cut anyways in the future, but spark limit stopped working!
I was driving how I usually do home from work and went to bounce off it so I could hear it and it never did, but by the time I looked down, the tach was pointed pretty much straight down
1: thank allah that my motor is still okay
2: HOLY SH$%^
Anyone have any ideas? I messed with it more today and set the limit to 2500 to mess with it and neither spark retard or cut works at all(drives normally to however far you want to go).
Fuel cut works fine, I don't have(or need) launch control circuit... So any ideas? I have a datalog and my msq that is unmessed with. The only difference is I have rev limiter set to fuel cut instead of spark cut in the msq.
Everything else seems to work fine, and I have put about 500 miles on the ms2 since i built it
Thanks for any insight!

my dash tach is at ~7400 when ms shows 7100 so mines not that far off, plus all testing was done with ms tach afterwards, its definitely not working. The firmware I believe is the 3.2.1 release ms2 extra. Ill upload my msq from my lappy

Welp houston we found the problem
I am a fool was the problem. My obese father sat in my passenger seat awhile back and jambed it all the way back destroying the switch I had to go between stock spark and ms2 spark, so i hillbilly fixed it, using stock spark. 30 mins later I won $400 and totally forgot I had ever had a problem, until today. I resoldered a new switch in and now that ms is controlling the spark it is also limiting it. I did however in the process of troubleshooting try to get launch control to function but I can't get the light in TS to light up like it does with ms1.
I jumped pin 10 to jp4 and then went js7 to iacb. I have continuity all the way from my grounded db37 wire to jp4 but the light in TS isn't coming on. I'm going to read more before actually posting a question though.
