Default Is there a thread or location posting MSQ files?

Is there a master thread or location where people are posting their MSQ files? I don't see anyone posting them in the VB garage - I checked a few of the guru's garages and didn't see any postings.

With the same questions coming up all the time it might be helpful to see clearly what others have done that don't have those problems. Things like lumpy or wandering idle, VE tables, timing settings, etc.

Gee, can you tell I've only had the MS thingy a week or two? What an easy way to lose several hours out of your day!!!

most of us have deviated from the MSPNP base map... it's a good start.

most of us also dont post our maps very often because with all the differences between our setup, it could easily damage something on someone elses.

if you would like to browse through mine...it's within this zip somewhere: http://boostedmiata.com/MS/msq/10g_1...lone_noafm.zip

Really the only important things of anybodies MSQ file that anyone would be curious about are timing and fuel. Timing more so. The rest is all car specific, example. My cranking pulsewidths are lower then some peoples with larger injectors then me.

Schwing Shuiend! Thanks!

Saml, I'm wanting to compare my timing to what others are doing. Want to make sure it's not out of line with what is working for others.

I think some of the various idle settings might also be useful for others with idle issues.

Idle issues? Pffft... I don't even have an idle control valve

I'd post mine up, but I think it's probably so far off of what would be safe for anyone else, it would definately cause problems if someone else tried to use it.

I looked at the Al Hounos and Braineack spark tables. Seems that Al's is recommended as a good starting point and pretty conservative. It is much more conservative than what I was running. Brain's a more aggressive at the low end. I took some of the numbers back a little to more match a compromise of their plot curves. No knock sensor yet so I'm a little concerned about changes I'm making. Will be getting it on a dyno again next week to see where it's at.

Still trouble with idle bouncing around. Haven't nailed it down yet. That's an issue that I thought I might find an answer to in other peoples files.

Oh, and the idle issue? Most wouldn't likely be worried about it. It bounces from rich to lean over and over. Not all the time but enough to notice. Revs don't change much though. It's not a big swing. Just looking for stock drivability out of my modded car!

Slight variation of AFR at idle are normal. As long as you aren't hearing popping in the exhause and the rpm is stable I think you're ok.

RPM's bump slightly with the AFR's. 1000 to 1050 back and forth. It has lessened with some of the small changes I made but not gone away.

Curious. Bottom line of megatune. Lists things like fuel pump on, output2 on, Fan output on, etc. How do you track down what the problem is when it says "Config Error!"

I've been going over the manuals but can't find how to track down errors!?!

Also, what are the red and green dots across the screen telling us?

Also, why can't I find these answers in the manuals? Am I that blind or aren't they there?!?
