Default Video: How To Build a DIYPNP

We thought a short video would help people with assembly of their DIYPNP ECU kits. So, here's Russ building a DIYPNP v1.5, time lapsed to under 2 minutes.

Ben

After viewing multiple "why does my sh** not work" threads. I have a suggestion that might make it a lot easier for troubleshooting these diypnp builds. It is cost effective for diyautotune, but not really for the end user.

The build instructions have the areas of the board color coded.

It would be nice if you could take a few of these areas; boost, ignition, injection, relay1, relay2, and other critical connections and provide a different color wire for each section. It would be much easier looking at a picture to identify if there is a wrongly routed wire. On the user end it isn't cost effective to buy 5 rolls of wire and only use a foot off each roll. As a supplier you can buy in bulk, ship the needed lengths to the user, and provide a protocol for what color is used where. This will hopefully reduce the variance from one build to the next within each application.

would you like them to send a pacifier and "baby wets herself" along with the package as well?

Yeah, we'll try and get that back to you soon, but if the card is still in it I wouldn't watch...

Since it's germain to the topic of DIYPNP assembly, here's a link to our new firmware installation page. Based off of your feedback, we created a very thorough guide that breaks the firmware installation process down step-by-step with pictures.
