i don't think he is dissing, more like giving advice about how much has been put into either one of our cars and how the actual WB is a necessity. which is what i asked for. however, $50 now, then another $50 or so in a couple weeks is better than $200 at one shot. but i do appreciate yalls honesty. thanks.
i'm gonna try it out BEFORE going turbo to make sure i know the system well, plus i still need to learn MS. then once i'm sure i can hold my own on both systems, jr's getting boosted.
not disregarding the UEGO advice or anything, i just can't afford it.

Yep - all good
I was more about defending the JAW than you

From what I've heard JAW have had great feedback, but there's always the LC1 problem threads around.

LC1 Piece of **** thread as an example.

My motto is dont judge a book by its cover. If the Jaw had been around as long as the LC1, maybe they would be better known, but I'm not sure about writing it off because its $100 cheaper.

So I have my car up and running. And I'm quite happy with the JAW wideband. Sample rate is about right. Tuned all idle with little problems. I give the JAW two thumbs up!

Yep no dissing. Merely pointing out that sometimes it's better just to man up and spend a bit more on the initial purchase. There have been plenty of times I've tried messing around with cheaper alternatives and nearly always regretted not buying the more expensive "right" unit in the end.

Good luck though, I hope you find something nice out for the community.

I hooked the LC1 up in a second bung and to look at the reading differences and I was quite surprised by the accuracy of the JAW. LC1 seemed to update more often and a little faster response, but in MS they are no different. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I always wonder why everyone goes with a LC-1. The PLX is cheaper, doesn't require calibration and as far as I know, it works just as good if not better. Is there a reason that everyone is obsessed with the LC-1 that I don't know about?

I think a lot of it has to do with the LC1 being the one sold by diyautotune. It makes sense to follow the dealer's recommendation when you want to play it safe I guess.

With the JAW I have only noticed one problem so far. When coming out of lean it tends to have some latency but when reading 10-16 AFR it is dead on and updates just as fast as the LC1 did.
