Default Where do I hook up a shift light to the MS?

I found the settings for it, but I haven't been able to find where to set a pin for it. I have an Autometer Pro-Lite that I am going to use in lieu of a tachometer as a temporary thing.

All right, chucklefucks. Megamanual says Pin 10, but on the MSPNP that's the wideband input. Do I need to open my box and solder straight to JS7/JS8?

yeah, you'll probably have to jump two pins from the breakout header off the daughter board to JS7 and JS8 on the main board, respectively. easy enough.

JS8 is already taken as the second trigger input.

They aren't talking about the external pin 10 on the MSPNP, they mean the 10th pin of the processor socket inside the ECU. You can jump that to any of the spare pins on the external connector. Section five covers how to use the spare pins that we left for you guys on the MSPNP, MegaSquirtPNP by DIYAutoTune.com

Hope that clears it up.

so if you turn the shift light function on, and use pin 10 of the CPU, would that screw up the trigger?

I ran a wire from JS7 straight out the side of the case. Please tell me if this is going to make my neighborhood burn down before I start the car.

Right, you'd get an error if you tried to run sequential shift lights, and the engine wouldn't run. You can do a one stage shift light with an on/off output.

I used two different outputs (js7 and Js3) and made a two-stage shift light work.

Nice Brain, now a housing. Would it work with MSPNP or?
I used EBC output to a huge single 12V led. Works for me.

Nice, but I wanted something I'd notice. See around 0:10 for example:
