Who's Using MS for Track Data? How? Ben?
I'm getting pretty heavy into tracking.
I've got two Miata's, a '90 street/track with a turbo and a '95 track only normally aspirated. They both have first generation MSPNPs. That means they both have an RS-232 line full of data just sitting there, waiting to be used.
I don't have any other data logging equipment at this time. It seems like a lot of us are using iPhone or Android apps like Harry's lap timer. With an external GPS, I understand these are pretty good and a lot of bang for the buck.
I'd love to import some MS data into the app. Most say they support OBD-II, but that's not what we have. Has anyone successfully imported MS data into these Apps (for example, with Bluetooth?). Or is there a device for generating an OBD-II like Bluetooth data stream from the MS's RS-232? Or, if you've done it . . . how?
Etc. Christmas is coming you know.
