MS friendly dyno shops.. in GA.
I'm leaning toward letting a pro handle my MS tuning.. are there any good dyno shops in Georgia (or possibly SC, north FL) that could tune MS? I'm in Kuwait now but I'll be back in Augusta by November.
Also, suppose I drive over there with the MS and 460cc injectors in the trunk and swap the injectors and ECU, and hook up the sensors (which I'll have installed already). Viable plan?

The local guy I had been referring people to just changed jobs and is at another shop now that doesn't have a load bearing dyno. He could still likely do a fair job for you as he's tuning cars all the time and does at least have an inertia dyno, but there's no substitute for a good steady state dyno. The shop where he used to work still has the dyno but they don't have a tuner lined up yet-- they're working on it. Get in touch with me when you get back in town and I'll try and help you find the best option around here.

also maybe we can all get together one day when you're back in country. there's plenty of FI miata guys around here, including an ever growing population of MS + turbo miatas. My MS map should be 80-90% of what yours should be, so you wouldn't need much dyno time at all...

Back from semi-deadness!
Ben - It would still be absolutely epic if we could get together and figure this thing out sometime in NOV, even though I have the PNP now so it should be easier, and I've been RTFM at work (slow this week, all the agencies are on vacation). I'll buy you a case of your favorite brew..?

uhm I don't quite get what you're asking... If you're verifying that I'll still help you in Nov, yeah I'll still help you in Nov. But it's still 2 months out.

Yeah man just verifying. I know it's a ways off but just trying to get everything lined up, ya know? If DIY had their dyno by then... dyno day?

Ahh well you know, new territory, first EMS for me so if someone who knew what they were doing was there, if only to drink a cold one and supervise, it would help immensely. Don't get me wrong, the PNP seems simple enough if reading the manual is any indicator. I'm just paranoid

Yeah, as long as you're coming north to me, and not expecting me to go south to you. Most boringest 2.15 drive EVAR. OK, not as boring as Texas but still.
Roll up on the stock ecu and we'll go thru the whole install procedure at my place, road tune, and hopefully then dyno tune.
