Setup AFR Target Table for VE
I want to setup my AFR Targets for VE Table and I have the one that Al unless i'm mistaken but i don't know what AFR values his voltages reference. Anyone know what AFR's i should look for at certain map pressure? I plan to tune the car for up to 15 psi on this nissan T25 so I think i should increase my max map value to 200. I can enter all the correct voltages I just don't know what AFRs to use.

K, i'll shoot for 220 then, that's around 17.14 psi which is beyond my turbo's efficiency.
I'd rather just tune the map, but i figure i could let Megalogviewer do some of it for me and if i setup a target table right it can rough it in for me.
If that doesn't work i'll do it all by hand.

This is what I'm using on my car at the moment- should be pretty close...

What kind of wideband are you using?

It's kind of subtle. Go into the Configurator and bring up your car's project (car1, if you haven't added any more). Click the little + sign to expand settings.ini, then expand Settings and select LAMBDA_SENSOR. Change it to one that matches your sensor's output. You'll get the table in volts if it's set to an unknown sensor or a narrow band, AFR for a known setting.

So you've got it set to AEM wideband in the configurator and it's still displaying voltage in the AFR target table? Honestly I've not run an AEM as we run the Innovate goodies here... it should be setup with the tables built in to convert voltage to AFR but if not they may just have it using voltage tables so you can set it like a generic wideband. Maybe there's a reason for this-- does AEM have different models with different V=AFR curves?
I know where you can get an LC-1

I have no idea about there being different models. All i know is I have one and i know the V=AFR curves for it. I should have gone LC1 but i bought the AEM way before i thought of going MS and the complete AEM package looked nice at the time.
I do have the AEM Linear setting right in configurator and it still gives me a voltage reading.
Do you use megalog viewer much?
If I had a dyno I wouldn't use it much but for road tuning it's pretty nice if you get good long datalogs.

Just played around with it a bit, and it appears that they (MegaTune programmer and the guys that maintain it) do not have the voltage to AFR curves programmed in for either AEM Linear or AEM Non-Linear from what I can see. If you're using an AEM you'll need to use target voltages which is admittedly not pretty, or (as this is open source) update the appropriate .ini with the voltage=afr curve so that everyone can benefit. I've not tried that before but I'm betting it wouldn't be that hard since you have the data... you could probably dig up some info on it on the msextra.com forums if you want to go that route.

I just checked out out and found where and what I would need to edit. It doesn't look easy and some of the values that it needs I have no idea where to get the. Think i'll post on msextra later on but for now my 8x8 volts table will work fine.

First off sorry for digging up an old thread but its pretty relative to my problem. I finally started messing around with my car again and got it started but its idling at around 10:1 AFR according to the readout on the display of my WB. I currently have unknown wideband selected in the settings portion of the configurator but I'm not very confident in that choice. I have the NGK AFX that puts out 0-5V 9.00 to 16.00 linear. Before I go changing AFR targets and such I wanted to make sure that the WB was interfacing with MS as efficiently as possible. I don't mind tuning by voltage but I was just wondering what all I would need to change to set tuning by voltage properly and what all is affected by it. Or an update to Megatune to work with the AFX would be nice too. But anyway if anyone has any helpful input I would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

I'm using the AFX also, and as far as I know there isn't a work around for the volts/afr issue. As for getting it setup, you have to modify the lambdasensors.ini file. Directions are here in post 7;
