following up on this. I'm considering moving up a class from 225/45/15 RS3 to 195/55/15 VENTUS TD soft. can you confirm if the 4's/lap time difference in favour of the ventus is still valid in your situation?(what is actual track length/lap time?) tks.

4s.!! wow, more than I thought considering 195/medium versus 225 RS3. everybody here is jumping on these for time attack also. please let me know how it goes with the 17" as we have identical car setups and I also was considering the exact same 17"/18"option as you to use these tires. thanks very much.

If I use 195/55/15 z221 soft, I am still 4s faster consistently compared to 225/45/15 rs3.
I will go the route of 225/45/17 soon. Once I sort out the wheels.
