I heard Chin was coming to TX. I'd like to try them out, especially if i can get on track at COTA. I instructed there a month ago and had a blast just riding pass. (had a really good student in a SLS AMG Black edtition!) My student already had great car control and we were hauling serious ass. Anywho, RA was an awesome track. Elevation is not even shown on video/tv. I just wish i had my car there. My buddies 1uz AE86 corolla was great though. It was on 3yr old NT-01's and trying to figure out/ man up on the track kept us in the 1:42-1:44 range. Hopefully, have my car going in the next month. I'm about to pick-up another '95 with good basic mods too.

Last time i was at RA with a running miata, i was turning 1:41 (~200rwhp b/c couldn't generate boost due to badly cracked Taco).
It's been awhile and I'm so ready to get back on track!
I will have the daily NB finished soon that will be track prepped/capable that I hope to drive on to NOLA for a weekend with Chin... Same with COTA. If you haven't run with Chin, you should give them a try.
How'd you like RA? That back straight makes it tough to keep up with the vetted and Porsches.
For TT, I'm happy to know Nasa is now running at Barber and Nola... Which are great tracks for a tuned miata. RA is tough one to be competitive.
