Default WI tank possibility

http://users.frii.com/maphill/wi.html

Hope that link works. it's a DIY site about WI. he uses a tank from a mitsubishi gsx. apparently it comes mounted in the bottom of the trunk. also use something called a water hammer on the pump. any opinions on a water hammer. does anyone know someone with one of these cars, it would be nice to know how that tank would fit in a NA miata trunk.

I suppose since I own both, I'm obligated to do so. I'll be happy to as soon as I get the POS back from the mechanic.

Good day.

Actually, Water Hammer is a phenomenon- specifically what happens pressure waves within a closed system are forced to stop or change direction suddenly. It's why the pipes in old homes rattle when you flush.

A Water Hammer Arrestor is what he's got. It's just a little chamber containing air or some other gas (usually seperated by a flexible membrane) that acts as a shock absorber in the line.
