Okay so I went for the install today, and all was goin good. I got everything wired and hidden good, hooked the battery back up and turn the key and no sounds other than the fuel pump? wouldn't the water pump prime? the controller has the red l.e.d light on. nothing else? The map sensor output wire reads 2 volts at idle like it should since its a 2 bar MAP. I checked all my wires with the directions and their right. any ideas?

I don't think the pump engages until it's time to spray, isn't that how it controls the flow?

Remove the nozzel from the intake and put a bike pump on the map sensor. I'd absolutely bench test this before putting it in your car anyway.

Yea I was gonna try it before I sprayed water into the motor lol, but I thought the pump would have to build pressure in the line first?? but its just silent

I'm pretty sure it does not start pumping until your onset threshold is reached. Once it's primed the first time, it should remain primed as long as the system is closed, hence the checkvalve.

If you want, just apply some positive pressure to the MAP sensor (by blowing into it, using a hand pump, etc) to check it out.

That would merit a phone call to DevilsOwn. Solid red is normal with power on, but there should be 1, 2 or 3 blinks of the yellow at initial powerup.

Here is how I installed my Devils own stage II progressive water methanol injection kit.

Mazda-Speed.com :: my Devils own stage 2 water meth injection kit (mazdaspeed mx5 how to)

When my ignition is first turned on, one of the controllers LED's blinks 2 times (yellow) and another LED comes on & just stays on (red).

GM 2 bar MAP sensor
A black wire is ground
B green wire is signal wire
C grey wire is input wire

Pink controller wire connects to
cigarette lighter power wire.

Blue controller wire connects to
pumps positive wire (red).

Grey controller wire connects to the
GM 2 bar MAP sensor (grey) input wire.

Green controller wire connects to the
GM MAP sensor signal wire (green).

GM MAP sensor ground wire (black) connects to a ground point on car.

The pump comes on when boost pressure reaches the pressure that the controller is set to come on at & pump comes on full when boost pressure reaches the pressure the controller is set to come on full.
