Default NB Owners: Where To Mount Pump

I'm getting my DO WI kit on Tuesday. Where did you mount your pump under the hood? Can you post pics if possible. Need tips on where to mount the pump.

Did any of you use another tank besides the windshield washer tank? I've seen Joe Perez write up but I don't I'd want to mount a tank in my trunk.

Thanks! Yeah it looks like that's the only place to mount the pump.

I also put mine in the trunk, right next to the battery.

I mounted mine onto the battery mounting strap. That way if it leaks the methanol will flow right onto the battery FTW.

How many nozzles are you using and where are they?

I am using one 3 gph nozzle. You can see the nozzle holder right across the pipe from the BOV flange.

I think for my application (and most others)... 1 single nozzle is fine, no need to go and do 4 separate ones or something. Only thing that I don't really like is when I let off, water sprays out the BOV, lol. I could move the BOV to hot side....but meh.

Only thing about engine bay mounting is that pump may not like heat.

By the way to spite you I am going to run a fifth nozzle.

Yeah, I see it now. I'm planning to do it to increase the safety margin, not as much for additional power.

Yep, that's exactly what my purpose, for safety, not for power. Using the small 3gph nozzle that came with the kit.

Finally got mine mounted, just need to do the wiring.

Use the windows washer for the water and then use another for your windows washer mounted at the space on top of the firewall.

You can also use what i use.
