So before the air temp sensor and the BOV?

What if you did a taller thin tank just behind a passenger seat next to the center console? (if you even have a passenger seat in your track beast) You could use something like this 6 quart one. Just use self tapping sheet metal screws or you could bolt it into place. You could hide the pump in the truck and run supply lines through to it. This could keep the weight lower and more centered in the car if that's a concern.

50/50 water methanol is flammable, and burns with a clear flame.

So mounting pre-BOV that is VTA would be a bad idea then?

Any issue with the Link temp sensor and water/meth injection?

I have a guy coming back this fall (for more HP) who has had an Aquamist on his Link FM2 system for the last 5 years or so. I'll have a good idea when I get into it.

I'd run distilled water to hedge your bets.

I know this is an older thread, but I came across it while searching for information on how to mount my tank. So I thought I would add my installation. It's a 2.5 gallon Devil's Own reservoir and the pump is mounted under the carpet. I used some 1" metal bands to secure it. Held it nice and solid, but I didn't care for the unfinished look. Cut up a rubber seal meant for a garage door to cover the metal bands giving it a better look. Any thoughts?

That tank looks familiar...

Looks better than my trunk. Have you plumbed the wires/hose yet?

Will it fit between the Beatrush bar and the upper lip in front of the trunk lid? If so, I would be tempted to mount it to the top of the bar, and redo the carpet to cover it all up. The bar looks pretty beefy. Or, get a flatter, wider tank and mount it underneath the bar.

Plumbed the hose inside a fuel line and ran the entire thing under the car. I will finish it up tomorrow if I don't get hung up on anything.

It wouldn't fit in there because it was just a little too deep. There's actually about 3 inches of the tank that is below the carpet. I wish there was an actual tank that had identical dimensions to a spare tire. I wonder how hard it would be to make one?

I have considered that. IMO, if you bought some 3 or 4" PVC pipe and some 45 deg couplings, you could build a toroid (octagonal) that would fit nicely in the spare space, and have decent volume. Quick and easy. Fill it with some open-cell foam to prevent slosh, and/or use an intermediate tank like Joe Perez' sweet dual tank setup.

The harder route would be to mold a fiberglass tank to fit the well. Or hell, I wonder if tire rubber is water/meth compatible. Take a 'spare', add fittings, and viola. Well, maybe not, the wheel would probably be attacked by the methanol.

Mounting the tank isn't actually my concern it is the routing of the feed.
