Default Washerfluid - no danger?

Well I've read most of the threads here and some of you seem to use ordinary washer fluid for WI.

I also like the idea to share the washer fluid reservoir, I could by already mixed bottles (you don't get pure methanol so easy here in Germany)
and I'd even have an idiot light when the level is low!

But here in Germany, winter washer fluid consists of Water, Methanol and perhaps 5% of anionic tensides, in other words, SOAP

Is there no danger in spraying that into your engine or are you Americans generally using a pure water/meth mix as washer fluid?

Thanx for yopur answers!

Verwenden sie seife nicht! We use a soapless fluid.

Can you get HEET or other gasoline preservation products? They have a high meth content.

The saop will gum up your nozzle. Des siefe kan deine spritzer stopiern. Also bite mache es nicht so. Bitte kaufe ein sheiben washung ohne siefe, unt mit methanol oder ein anderes alchohol dabie.
