Default 1.6 engine and transmission

I have a complete 1.6 miata engine and transmission for sale. It has around 137k miles. I pulled it out of a 91 miata I bought recenlty and will be doing a 1.8 swap (had the 1.8 for a while). The engine ran fine when pulled. Didn't overheat or smoke. Doesn't have any odd smells. Really, really dirty. Don't ask what the PO did to it. Clutch felt worn when I drove it (I only drove it to my home, about 25 miles).

Long nose crank. VIN is JM1NA3519M1220534
Includes everything you see + the airbox (has K/N filter I believe)

Could possibly deliver it in DC area, if you have an engine hoist or could unload it otherwise. Located in my messy garage in Gaithersburg.

$500 obo

If it doesn't sell I will take the long nose crank off your hands.

A bit less than 5 feet.
If it won't fit, can either separate the transmission or I can transport it reasonable distance in my grand cherokee.

I live in upstate NY... you dont want to drive that far. i just checked my forrester and i have 5 feet 2 inches roughly so it will fit. i work 1st shift this week for training but go back on 3rd next week. that would be when i would pick it up so i could drive down in the daytime. its up to you if you want to wait until then or not but i am interested and would like to buy it.

It's not going anywhere, so consider it yours, unless some crazy guy shows up cash in hand tomorrow (doubt it). Just let me know if/when you want to pick it up during the day so I work from home on that day.

Thanks!
