I'm sure you'll have another very happy customer.

If things go well, I might be able to make a trip out to Wiley if your going to be in town. My boost controller came in, I'm just waiting on injectors.

Just finished a new setup. This one is a bottom mount, so it is not compatible with PS.

Like the last one, the DP starts out at 2" and flares to 2.5" after the first bend, but the WG recirc on it is a bit more ideal. It doesn't renter the exhaust until 14" downstream of the flange where there is less turbulence. Fitment is tight but the pictures make it look worse than it really is. The DP doesn't rub/hit anything. No shelf trimming is required.

Any takers?

Anyone looking for a custom setup? I'd love to take on a project. Something outside of the norm. I may also consider a sponsorship.

pictures don't do his work justice.
My turbo saved my car from being totaled. After my accident, being a guy I showed the adjuster my install while he was inspecting my car. The adjuster later told me the director over my account wanted to total my car, mainly because of the age, and paint job. The adjuster gave the photos of my engine bay to the director, and after seeing under the hood they re-evaluated my, and the insurance company actually gave me enough to get my car repainted as well as repairing the damage. I think that bad *** manifold and downpipe played a huge role.

No injectors yet, I got a PM saying they should be in Tuesday.

As far as your kit, it really did save my title, and that came from a tight fistted insurance company. They gave me replacement cost, and I got to keep my car.

Is that new bottom mount setup also for 1.6 with T25/28 flange? Is the price the same for that setup or what is it?

When are you doing your install?

Abe, the injectors are in, and the car is much faster. Now I need a 1.8 rear, and maybe a 6speed. Just as an FYI since installing 2.5" exhaust, i'm starting to spool around 2800.

Probably will be a while.
I'm still accumulating some parts here and there.. I want to do it right.
Just picked up a 1.8 diff swap, gotta get my bigger brakes in too.
I just need fuel management, an IC, and a lot of miscellaneous parts.. haha I really regret selling my MSPNP.

Sorry, I've been too busy with me newborn son the past few days to worry about cars, but I'm ready to start working again.

C Bo, yes the price is the same. Feel to email me at artech_abe@live.com if you have any questions.

Apariah, good deal. So it actually spooled faster with an exhaust? That's strange, but I'm sure you're not complaining. So, it sounds like you're pretty happy with that turbo. I was considering using the same turbo for making complete turbo kits. What do you think? I see you have new wheels to go with the new paint. The car looks good.

Hensonator, let me know if everything made it to you ok. I should have asked if you needed anything else. I have an intercooler you may be interested in. I'll send you pics by PM.

I'm working on a bottom mount, T25/T28, ramhorn manifold right now. It should be finished by the end of the week. I would love to get some numbers for it, but unfortunately my Miata is far from ready, so I am going to be looking to sponsor someone in exchange for their dyno time. If you're looking to make 300+ HP from your 1.6L, please PM me for details. Thanks.

Congrats on your Son, I'm sure the family is pretty excited.

On the sponsorship thing, if any 1.6 will do I might be into that. By the way, I'm still trying to make it your way, I have to visit the exhaust shop again this weekend, as well as a race, and helping someone move.

But I think its only fair you get to see your work in person on someone elses car. And you are correct I'm not complaining, I'm back around 13 psi now, but boost starts much sooner. If the weather gets any better I'll post results from a data log this weekend. I didn't want to put anything up until the exhaust system was sorted.

PM'd you about sponsorship.

I'd love to ride in your miata. Bring it by when you get a chance.

Looks pretty. Do you use mild steel flanges?

I stopped by the exhaust shop to get a few things taken care of. It turns out I killed a cat in two weeks, I guess I was running insanely rich, bu things are a bit better now. I have a race tomorrow, and I have to go to Arlington on Sunday. To pick up a packet for the mud run. If I can get that done in the morning, I might be able to make it by late in the afternoon. I think your going to enjoy the ride.
