Default 1.8 T2 MS Log Manifold

I have a 1.8 T2 log manifold that I finished up over the weekend. I had a few spare t2 flanges from a long time ago that I needed to get rid of so I built this manifold. It fits the standard 2554/2560/2860 sized Garrett turbo's. The manifold is AC/PS compatible and does not require cutting any of the shelf below the shocks. You are 100% on your own for a down pipe and there is nothing off the shelf that works with this. No I won't build you a down pipe.

$200 shipped in the continental US.

Tempting .. so .. can you build me a downpipe ?

Kidding aside I have a TD04-15G turbo with a Mitsu flange in almost new condition I want to use on my Exo. No one makes a manifold or dp for that so I'll need to custom anyways. This looks like a good and cheap non ebay option. The 15g has a 1.53" diameter circle turbine inlet. The T2 ( from google ) has a 1.55" x 2" rectangular turbine inlet. I am planning to make a adapter that tapes the rectangle into the circle. Question is .. even with that taper .. do you think flow would be too restricted to match my 15G with this manifold ?

I have absolutely zero idea. You can buy the manifold and try it and report back.

Based off what you're saying, you'd be going from...
(manifold on left / turbo inlet on right)

I think you could almost get it to match perfectly with just porting the exhaust inlet on the turbo. If you're bent on creating an adapter I'm sure that would work too and obviously leave your turbo untouched.

Nah .. to something like this ..

Here's a size accurate layover of the adapter I'll need to make so there's no way porting will work.

Calculated area of the header outlet is 2.315 sq. in. and the turbine inlet is 1.837 sq in .. so a 20% reduction is area .. no idea how that translate to CFM though. Hopefully with a smooth transition from rectangle to round, it will just mean more pressure and spool the turbo fastahz !

But as you guys said .. probably the best way is to try it and report back .. its either this or an ebay taco header. Where do I pay ? LOL
