Default Eibach springs, 450 lb

I have a pair (2) of 2.5" Eibach race springs for use in a coilover setup. They are part # 0600.250.450, which means 6" long, 2.5" diameter, and 450lb/in spring rate.

$75; includes shipping to the lower 48 states. Also open to trade for lower rate coilover spring (250-350lb).

I so wish that the RB springs could be changed over, cause I still think my RB springs are too soft.

BTW why only two springs????

probably because he just switched out the fronts

If I were to get these it'd be to go softer, heh.

Actually, these have never been on my car. I picked them up with the intention of using them on the front, but am now thinking of softer springs for street use, maybe 350/250 or so.

350/250? C'mon man, my daily driven Miata runs 700/325 and it's really not bad.

I'm just looking for some rates that will better handle the Bilstein R-pkg dampers that are on the LE, not a race machine

hmm ... comes out to about 8kg/mm. I have tein basics with a 7kg/mm front and 6kg/mm rear and I have been giving some serious thought to either lowering the rear rate or raising the front to help balance the car out a bit. If it was more like 480 - 500 (8.5-9kg/mm) I would be all over it but I would consider doing a spring swap for my 7kg/mm which roughly converts to 395lbs/in if you want to try that rate out for awhile.

so my current setup is tein with about 395/335 it it is way to tail happy for me but 700/325 seems like some serious overkill, does it just mean you run more negative camber and same sized bars f/r to keep it from oversteering? My setup requires lots of rear static camber a big front bar and removed rear bar just to keep it somewhat straight, but still oversteers slightly which I really dont like.

The setup is fairly neutral, tends toward understeer if anything. Pretty hard to oversteer when the front springs are twice as stiff..

My bars are 255/15mm, both solid.

I have 700/450, big front bar, and a 14mm rear bar and it's pretty neutral. Pushes when you want, but when you're really hustling it you can get the rear end out.

Atlanta, keep the 450s. Street comfort is 100% in the shock valving. An M.net member got a ride in my car before he copied my setup, and he said he could not believe how good my ride quality was with such high spring rates.

You can get 7 inch QA1 springs for $37 each from Summit Racing (and a free Summit Racing baseball cap for the redneck in you).

Is the 6" length the standard GC length for a Miata? If you will ship to Canada I might be interested.
