99-00 GV Bumper FREE, or else!
I bought this bumper a few months back. I won it for $1 on e-bay. It was a pick up only auction, so I drove about 40 minutes for it, no biggy. It is a Garage Vary (GV) knock off. It is fiberglass. I went to put it on my car yesterday and it needed some trimming to properly fit. Once I got it lined up I noticed that you see the front upper radiator support directly under the top of the bumper. I believe this can be solved with some fiberglass work or whatever, but it's not worth my time.
Like I said, I paid $1 for it. If you are interested in this, you need to come here and pick it up and take it for FREE. I'll even drink a few high quality beers with you (which I will supply) and talk MT.net ****. Otherwise, I'll back over it with my truck and call it a day.

I think I should set a deadline for this. Ok, if nobody schedules a pickup by Friday, it's getting Fucked up on video. I need to add something good to my youtube besides just 1 drag video. There. You have until friday, World.

What kind of work would it take to fix and would you take beer money to ship it? I actually just trashed my '99 bumper and I really like the way this one looks!

You could mount it the way it is, but it won't look super awesome. Beer money? Buy me a case of Chimay Red, and a case of Lagunitas Chocolate Stout and it's a deal. Where are you located at?

Texas, 77494. Care to descrbe the issue more in depth? Like is the gap between hood and bumper too prominent?

I remember when I had one without intercooler....can look a bit odd.

The gap along the hood line can be fixed by taking the bumper support and trimming it up. This supports it from the middle and "props" it up. The bumper support needs the lower half cut off and the corners trimmed up. It's not hard work. I had a knockoff on my old car at one point and was able to get the gap to go away. Even the real GV can get that bad gap without the bumper support under it.
