Does it use 1/2 and 3/4 pairing? Any reason for that?

Ideally, this setup would go onto a 2.0 stroker motor, with all forged internals, and about the largest exhaust pipe you can run. 4" sure! Will it spool slower on a 1.8, yeah it will, it probably would be pretty darn annoying on a 1.6. Please note that the seller switched to the somewhat smaller 2871 turbo. Whether or not that would be the best idea for you...only you can answer that. Do you want to post the biggest peak numbers, but don't really care about the area under the curve? Thus might be the setup for you. Do you lik to fiddle with your setup constantly? This might be a good one, as a tubular mani, it will spool quicker, but they do tend to crack sometimes...you can weld right? I think the bigger question for you is, what kind of driving am I going to do, what is my tolerance for stuff going wrong, how much power can I really get to the pavement with my current wheel/tire/suspension setup....

A long runner manifold won't spool quicker than a log - tubular or cast.

Also this isn't a ebay/chinese 18ga manifold. A tubular manifold that has been properly welded, like this one, is no more likely to crack than a cast manifold. 304L stainless isn't my first choice for longetivity in turbo manifolds, but full race doesn't seem to have a problem with theirs cracking (.145" wall 304L SS). Mine are mostly mild steel and no problems so far either.

I am not sure what you mean about the pairing. I dont remember any talk about a transition from 1/2 to 3/4. I could be totally wrong though.

And this was before you completed tuning? Wow! Love this setup, what kind of numbers are you hitting with the 2871?
With the 2871 I have 398 and 357. It is tuned and spun to the max. It is giving all its got LOL

I think Artech was talking about each side of the twin scroll. One side being cylinder 1 and 2 and one side 3 and 4. I'm pretty sure it should be paired 1 and 4/ 2 and 3

No. Just limit the top end with the wastegate.

We all need this. Whether we know it or not.

I see it now. Top notch stuff.

Someone contacted me about completing the exhaust on this setup. Is the DP 3", and does it end near the factory location? I assume it's also v-banded at the end.

This is a an Evo X housing. So it goes from 2.5 to 3" It is V banded, I dont believe the end (exiting) of the DP is Vbanded though. I dont even remember I can take a pic of that for you guys too. It has 2 02 bungs because we ended up not liking the 1st location and threw one on in a hurry. it is the only non beautiful part LOL. I will get a pic...

Also, I dont plant to part this out at all. this system was built as a system, not a part out.

You can buy it and part it out
