Default FM Built 1.6L

Show everyone your bigger ***** for using a 1.6L instead of a 1.8L

figured I'd post it up here just in case there's someone

who wants to pursue a 1.6L build.

Engine - $2500 obo

(Build was upwards of $6000 - receipt I will provide does not reflect the Pauter rods and ARP studs as they were provided by the customer, previous owner put 2k on it, I put 6k on it with no issues until the belt slipped. needs timing to be reset and was going to do a new belt - but I have to move!)

*Fully handbuilt motor by Flying Miata (complete with plaque on the valve cover)
*Wiseco forged Pistons 9:1, 1mm overbore
*Pauter forged rods
*HKS 264 cams, 9.5 lift / 9.3 lift
*ARP Main cap studs
*Flyin Miata Adjustable cam gears
*Port and polished cylinder head
*Flyin Miata Upgraded valves springs with titanium retainers
*Multi-angle valve job, port and polish, port-match intake, unshroud valves,
*+1 intake and exhaust valves, unshroud chamber lip, polish combustion chamber,
*Unshrouded valves
*Polished valve cover

I have a boundary engineering street pump and ati damper that I could sell you also that you could put on when you do the belt.

Located in Ann Arbor, MI
Engine is still in the car, I would need some time to pull it.

Is she still available? Are those just N/A cams or are they turbo cams? I know kelford has two different spec cams for each application.

still available. hks didn't have separate ones - but they worked well for the turbo build.

So with the aftermarket cams and pistons installed is the motor still noninterference? I think if you did a quick compression test and posted the numbers a buyer might be more inclined to spend 2.5k on a 1.6L. They don't get much love on this site.
