Leary about used vortex
Vortech V-9F Supercharger Kit
History: My dad bought it new in February 2008, has a little over 20k miles on it. Operates and builds boost perfectly. Taken off because the car is mine now used as a daily driver, and I prefer to swap over the turbo components from my old 1994.
This kit was sold by gomiata.com as a product of VF Engineering (VF Engineering Supercharger Systems for Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Porsche, Sypker, VW | VF Engineering | Forced Induction Systems for Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Spyker, and VW). Gomiata erased the link recently, but it is designed to fit 1999- 2005. Relatively simple design of bolting a centrifugal supercharger to the miata.
The unit is oil cooled. An oil feed line as well as a drain line to oil pan are needed. More detailed information can be found here on vortech's website: Vortech V-9 F Supercharger | Vortech Superchargers
The system is fitted with the 'stage 2' including a smaller pulley and an upgraded bypass valve.
If you have interest, please feel free to ask questions.
I took many photos while taking it off the car to aid in the future installation. You can see the entire album here: Vortech deinstallation pictures by 95mx5red - Photobucket
Also took an obscene amount of photos while cleaning it up. Only item not pictured is the pulley that mounts to the crank pulley, as I forgot to remove it. Gallery: Vortech pictures by 95mx5red - Photobucket
$1000 + actual shipping and 3% paypal fee
Will consider trades for hardop.

I despise every supercharger except for this one. If I wasn't boosted yet, I would actually buy this. This setup would be awesome with a MAF elimination, megasquirt standalone, and a FMIC.

VF chipped the stock ECU. It runs fine, doesn't stall with the AC on, runs too rich on tip in and partial throttle, and runs out of injector up top. We sprayed a lot of meth to compensate.
I was not planning on including it.

I knew this would sell quick...
Whoever buys this needs to add a FMIC and run it with a MSPNP and RX-8 425's. That setup would make great reliable power.
Enjoy!

Since you do not see this often kit often, I will share more. Here is the bottom pulley. 4 hex bolts. That makes a total of 8 bolts.

It's all mine guys! YAYS
I have 550s in my FD as well but I'm only going to upgrade my secondaries on that. I'll PM you ATLi126
@Thirdgen, I'm thinking MS3 and possibly baller VMount if I can convince a local rockstar to do my welding for cheap. Till I finish collecting parts though, the supercharger will just mock me in my office.
