I'm going to put the smallest pulley I can on the car and put a restrictor plate like some of the vette guys do so I can get boost almost right away but not overboost on the top.

I don't think it's been done on a GTO yet. Just need to find a good tuner.

yes, on most systems some even have map sensor and injection maps as well but this is just way to complicated to get into for less than 300whp.

I wouldn't say complicated....no more so than installing an electronic boost controller. You will end up more finely tuned and using less water. I don't think there is a certain power level it will be more effectve at than another. Its gonna be effective at any level whether you want a dialed in 150 whp car or a dialed in 700 whp car.

I think hate is a little strong... LOL, I think he simply prefers finer fuels as opposed to water injection. Given the choice between C16 and 93 octane pump juice and H2O, Mr Bell would opt for the C16. However give him the choice between 6 PSI of boost with no water injection and 20 PSI of boost with water injection and I'll bet you lunch he'll chose the water injection every time.

Thats the reason I decided to go with water/alcohol injection; I can only get 91 octane out of the pump here in CA. Well there is one 100 octane pump here in San Jose but forget about the price, water and/or methanol is by far cheaper!
Bell was saying also that Water injection is unrelieable, I really dont see how that is possibe if you set it up correctly. I would say as long as you take care to make sure the lines/nozzle doesnt get clogged up with crap you should be ok since the pump should last near forever.

On topic, Is it possible to wireup a led that would turn on when the pump is activated? I would like to wire up a led for the low water level switch I got and for when the WI is activated. I figure a green led for the WI pump turned on and red one for the low level. I plan on drilling two holes for this in my silly A pillar gauge holder and sticking them there. The green one next to the boost and the red next to the AFR guage for the lc-1(well im buying that one soon ). I want to do this I just dont know how to go about it. :gay:
