Sidenote: MAH PMZ ARE ASPLODIN!
More interest than I was initially expecting. I'm kind of shocked, and kind of thrilled at the same time. I appreciate everybody being so interested .

So....Wow. I fully did not expect this many PMs/responses so fast. I need to start being productive at my day job , so when I get home, I will respond to all of the PMs I have received and I will update the list for those who have chimed in in this thread.
It looks like I've just about got enough cash to buy parts for the rest of the orders. Once I place that, I will be accepting payment from those not in the first 10. (I'm trying to avoid supply/delivery problems)
Edit: First batch goes out on Saturday for those interested. Hopefully once people start receiving them, we can get some feedback in this thread.

For now, I will be shipping these USPS Flat rate. That is the only way I can guarantee a universal price.
I use the FM recommended location of the top motor mount bolt on the passenger side. As TurboRoach put it "Holy crap, you can hear the injectors" These aren't 'knock sensors' per-say. It is your ears and brain that do the knock processing, so where the sensor is placed isn't as important as with a piezo based knock sensor.
Edit: I would probably avoid clamping these to the head. I've heard of people doing this with similar devices with good success, but the valvetrain noise produced by our cars would probably drown out too much.
Yep, these are car independent.
Over the next 20 minutes or so, I will be responding to everyone's PMs. I'm going to give out my paypal to those who have asked, but I'd really prefer that people hold off on payment until I send off for parts. I don't want to run into issues with supply problems after I've already accepted $$$ from people.
Thanks,
Jeff
Sidenote -> Everyone is getting a generic cut and paste PM with relevant info. If you want to pay up front, that is fine with me. If you change your mind and you don't to pay at all, thats cool too . HOWEVER: Please read that PM carefully. If you send me money and are # 48 on the list, don't expect these by Monday. If I had known I'd be making this many, I would have outsourced this **** to china
