I bought the 100 dollar one. I talked to Keith about the differences and what was wrong with them (casting, etc), basically they were not happy with the rough casting of those manifolds, so they switched suppliers. These are the leftovers. However, Keith said that ALL the manifolds on the Deal of the Day page listing passed their quality tests, so they are not defective; just not as smooth of a casting as they want. Also, some have shitty ceramic coatings; the one I bought does.

I plan on using this one as a test bed for some DYI porting and extrude/honed work. Then possibly re-tapping it for a T3 footprint since the flange face is so large on these manifolds. Or just keep it T2 and spend the coin on a EFR 6758. Or T3 for a HY-35/HE-351cw, then tap the large top portion of the collector for my baller Turbonetics EVOgate, lol! The possibilities are endless!

I will never let my FM3 go....We've been through so much together...

I will most likely keep it in case I get another B6 miata or just buy a huge eBay turbo and mount the setup on my wall as art

I mean, ****, that manifold had over 100,000 miles on it BEFORE I bought it 3 years ago, lol!

Props to FRTFun. Just picked up the last $100 one they had. Looks like my girlfriend's 92 is getting boost. I've already got a Link ECU and intercooler for that car. Does anybody know if the IHI turbo from the Mazdaspeed will fit the flange on the FM manifold? If not I'll be in the market for a turbo.

Nice! They still had 7 of them when I called yesterday, looks like other people are jumping on this.

I'm 100% sure the MS IHI turbo will not fit a T2 footprint. Just grab a t28 off eBay and you'll be set.
