This is not what we call a "splitter".
This is a "long loved fiberglass lip".
It is approximately worth it's weight in cured fiberglass mat and resin; less when you add in the cost of shipping.

Yeah, that's the one.
No idea where you're seeing it for $45. Best I could come up with on the front page of a single Google search for the more durable material was $54 shipped.
