Default Clutch Bypass Switch $20 Shipped

I have a used clutch cancel switch for sale. It was removed from an old Toyota 4runner. These are neat. You can push this button and it bypasses the clutch safety switch. Friend has an old 4 runner with one and it's neat to be able to reach in the window, hit the button, then turn the key and fire it up. Course you better not have the thing in gear.

Anyways this is the older one and it has the pigtail built into it. All you gotta do is figure out how to wire it up. It's only 3 wires, couldn't be that hard. I think it's 12V+ in run or start to the red wire, ground to black, and the green goes to the side of the clutch switch that is NOT ground. So when you hit the button it sends a ground signal to the clutch switch wire so the ECU thinks the pedal's in until you turn the key off, then the switch automatically resets.

20 shipped to you. If you're cheap go look on ebay and you'll find them a little cheaper. But you'll notice all those switches are from newer 4 runners and they don't have the pigtail built into the switch.

Cool, so all I have to do is shift now right? No more clutch means the wife can drive it too!

This is a SWITCH, not a short. You can turn it on and off. Furthermore it automatically resets when you power off the car. So if you throw the keys to someone else it will start like a regular manual transmission car, but will allow you to defeat the clutch safety switch at your convenience.
